Holyoke Medical Center (HMC) is an independent community hospital serving individuals and families throughout the cities and towns of the Pioneer Valley.
This full-service hospital provides a complete line of inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services.
We are seeking an experienced professional to manage and oversee the delivery of safe and effective nursing care to patients in the Operating Room, Short Stay Surgery and PACU.
The incumbent will plan and direct the development of annual budgets and will manage fiscal resources within the budget, establish and achieve goals and objectives for the department consistent with Nursing and Hospital goals, develop, establish and maintains policies and procedures for the department, plan and implement education programs for staff inservices, continuing education, skills and competency development and specific mandatory educational requirements;
assume duties of clinical supervisor, as necessary, and administer direct nursing care to patients.
