My client is in immediate need of an attorney with commercial contract experience to cover for a maternity leave. This position will support various business units by reviewing and drafting commercial agreements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Draft, revise, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements
- Collaborate with internal business units to provide legal guidance on agreements, policies, and processes
- Identify risks and propose alternative structures to mitigate risks in potential transactions
- Assist with intellectual property and corporate governance matters
- Advise on legal aspects of sales, marketing, purchasing, information technology, lease, and other agreements
- Conduct legal research and render interpretive memoranda as needed
- Participate in the development and interpretation of departmental policies
- Perform other job-related functions as assigned
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Experience in drafting, revising, and negotiating commercial contracts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with intellectual property and corporate governance is a plus
