As a Business Architect Sr. within PNC's Security organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications :
- Individual who has macro technology view like architecture( enterprise, solution level etc.)
- Who can translate high level business objectives into business level view off product architecture
- Individual with technology background in areas such as Fraud, Identity, Authentication, Security would be given preference.
- Has Big data tools / framework experience or can articulate & translate the use cases into technology framework
- Helps drive technology conversations.
- Acts as primary interface between business and technology
- Can articulate & present service level architecture in a business friendly way

Job Description
- Provides guidance and advice on business architecture designs in complex projects, resolves difficult problems and ensures that all deliverables meet high standards in quality.
- Designs business architecture procedures, such as the target operating model and roadmap, while considering business strategies and goals.
- Consults on best practices for junior staff in business architecture planning, processes, data modeling and business architecture tools (e.g. UML and BPMN.)
- Provides a systematic analysis on client requirements within the traceability framework and resolves any functional problems encountered.
- Oversees the quality of business architecture project deliverables while ensuring that they are in compliance with relevant standards and processes.

IT Standards, Procedures & Policies Knowledge of and the ability to utilize a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to manage organizational IT policies, standards, and procedures.
Planning : Tactical, Strategic Ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
Problem Solving Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems;
ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable.
Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
