TRAVELING PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Southern California based General Contractor seeking an experienced Construction Project Superintendent for both Ground-up and Tenant Improvement commercial projects.
This role includes managing the day-to-day operations of the construction site, as well as overseeing subcontractor coordination and scheduling.
Suitable candidates will possess strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and require moderate use of a laptop and digital camera.
Must be willing to travel to different projects in CA & AZ.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and complete projects at different locations requiring travel.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, meeting or exceeding OSHA standards.
- Maintain positive professional relationship with all parties involved with the project.
- Coordinate / enforce schedules with vendors and subcontractors.
- Take responsibility, accountability, and initiative to drive projects forward without supervision.
- Proactively identify and communicate design deficiencies, schedule conflicts, or project specific concerns with Project Manager.
- Ensure all work is installed per plans and specifications, while maintaining schedule and thoroughly enforcing quality control standards.
- Track and report all expenses.
- Take photos and prepare daily logs and site safety reports.
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation, and willingness to travel more than 70% of the time.
- Must have experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent, overseeing new ground-up projects.
- Must be proficient with computer (laptop), smart phone / tablet, and digital camera.
- Procore experience preferred.
- Must be detail-oriented and organized.

Compensation Dependent upon experience. $62,400 to $104,000
