We are seeking a sharp Medical Receptionist to join the Norwalk branch of a leading dermatology provider with over 20 clinics across Iowa, dedicated to offering exceptional skin care services.
The Norwalk branch is a close-knit team, working collaboratively to provide the best patient care.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. You will work closely with 1-2 providers and 1-2 medical support staff members in a small, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Greet and check-in patients with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Assist with billing and insurance processing.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Perform general administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with medical office software and systems.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
