Senior Logistics Sales Executive

Our client is looking to add a Senior Sales Executive to their expanding team. This position will be responsible for prospecting potential clients and leading in-person and virtual sales engagements as well as other duties that are outlined below.

Job Type : Full-time

Responsibilities :

• Maintain an active sales pipeline, healthy close rate and engage prospects through multiple channels and our client’s CRM.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to develop creative enterprise-level solutions leveraging our client’s entire portfolio of services.
• Attend industry and networking events in the Cincinnati / Northern KY market.
• Help develop implementation plans and support the Account Management team with new customer acquisition.
• Support the creation of an annual S&OP budget.
• Understand and execute pricing strategies for all services and lead RFP / RFI responses.

Experience :

• High school degree or equivalent is required.
• Minimum five years of sales experience.
• Ability to travel as needed (estimated 20-30%).
• Experience selling to executive-level decision-makers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required.
• A can-do attitude and team mindset.
• Advanced knowledge of transportation and supply chain terminology and concepts.
• Growth mindset and results-oriented approach.
• Executive-level communication and presentation skills.
• Expert-level proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software preferred.
• Working knowledge of customer technologies including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) preferred.
