The Manufacturing Manager will play a critical leadership role in overseeing and optimizing the production processes of our precision CNC Machining.

The pay range for this position is between $120,000 - $135,000 / year depending on experience* Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities Production Management : Actively manage daily operations of the CNC machining team to ensure employee safety, product quality, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency.

Adapt and champion the use of the CMT Toolbox in the DTM Factory. Collaborate with the Master Planner to develop and implement production schedules, workforce planning, and capacity management to meet customer demand.
Coordinate with engineering, quality, and procurement departments to streamline workflows and resolve production issues.
Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and develop a team of CNC machinists, supervisors, and support staff. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of assembly personnel.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, teamwork, and sense of urgency. Conduct performance evaluations and manage employee development programs.
Process Optimization : Identify and implement manufacturing process improvements to enhance machining capabilities, assembly capabilities, reduce lead times, and minimize waste.
Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles methodologies to drive operational efficiencies including daily Gemba Walk, Shop Floor Visual Display Boards, 5S, Kaizen events and other Lean Tools.
Oversee the maintenance and upgrading of CNC equipment and assembly work centers to ensure optimal performance. Quality Assurance : Ensure products meet customer quality requirements and specifications.
Work closely with the quality assurance team to address non-conformances and implement corrective actions. Promote a proactive approach to quality by integrating quality control processes into daily operations.
Participate in and contribute to Contract Reviews to ensure customer requirements are identified and achieved during the manufacturing and assembly operations.
Provide input to the Cost Estimating team during the development of bids and proposals to customers. Health & Safety : Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
Promote a safety-first culture through training, audits, and enforcement of safety policies. Assists with other duties as assigned .
Experience, Qualifications, and Skills Education : Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
A Master's degree or MBA is a plus! Experience : Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a machining / manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role in CNC machining.
Technical Expertise : Strong technical knowledge of CNC machining processes, materials, tooling, and CAD / CAM software.
Leadership Skills : Proven leadership experience with a track record of building and managing high-performance teams. Analytical Skills : Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics, with a keen eye for process improvement and cost control.
Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
