job_description.job_card.job_descriptionTwo years of experience performing specialized clerical such as : drafting memos and correspondence, gathering data for reports, and providing customer service duties High school diploma or GED Clerical / customer service experience in a law office, judicial, or law enforcement environment Locate, order, pull, create, and organize case files Enter and retrieve case information from various databases, including Motor Vehicle Department, Justice Court database, and Superior Court database, among others Perform statistical data collection and tracking, and prepare various correspondence Assist in entering case disposition entries Research persons' information in state and national criminal history databases Maintain a current TOC with Department of Public Safety Enter data in case management system using information provided by law enforcement Assist in scanning and uploading case files and documents, such as certified criminal history records Work is mostly performed in a high-volume, fast-paced legal office environment Requires long periods of sitting while completing computer activities May require travel to and from job-related locations during a scheduled workday, subject to County policies regarding the use of County vehicles and / or private vehicles used on County business Ability to lift boxes and / or pull mailcart weighing 25 - 40 pounds Hybrid and alternative work schedules are available upon successful completion of the 6-12-month probationary period Only the most qualified candidates will be considered Consideration will only be given to candidates who submit online applications Candidates will be contacted primarily through email and their Workday online application profile Must pass a pre-employment background and / or fingerprint investigation as required by statute or policy, including drug and alcohol testing requirements for positions designated as safety-sensitive

Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. This position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.
