We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an IT Purchasing and Project Coordinator in Campbell, California.
The role involves managing product sales and quoting processes, handling customer inquiries, and producing reports for various stakeholders.

Responsibilities :
- Coordinate the receipt of customer requests and generate quotes accordingly.
- Procure necessary equipment through our supply chain and issue invoices to customers.
- Send purchase orders to suppliers and manage the approval process via digital platforms.
- Monitor and manage incoming tickets, ensuring they are assigned to the correct group and escalated as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Produce weekly and monthly customer reports, providing relevant metrics to the accounting team.
- Prepare submissions for supply vendors and partners, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately.
- Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and operations coordination.
- Stay updated with network hardware and provide price quotes whenever necessary.
- Demonstrated experience in IT purchasing activities
- Proficiency in operations coordination within a technology environment
- Knowledge of network hardware including routers, switches, servers, and other related equipment
- Ability to obtain price quotes and negotiate contracts with vendors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team coordination
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using purchasing software and other related IT tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with IT industry trends and ability to adapt purchasing strategies accordingly
- Bachelor's degree in IT, business, or a related field is preferred
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
