The Senior Manager, Learning and Leadership Development reports to global Senior Director, Learning & Leadership Development (U.
S. and international) site lead as a key member of the Business Alignment & Deployment COE. Working closely with the team members, HR business partners and key stakeholders, this role is responsible for the management and delivery of leadership and professional development training supporting U.
S. functions (exclusive of manufacturing and supply chain).
This is a hybrid role requiring minimum of 3 days in person per week at our Sleepy Hollow, NY office.
As a Sr. Manager, Learning Development a typical day may include :
- Facilitates learning courses and programs across business lines within Commercial, R&D, Clinical and Corporate Functions.
- Creates custom learning solutions for those business functions ensuring they are tied to key business needs.
- Utililizes instructional design capability experience to create custom training and to adapt training based on learning metrics.
- Relationship management & stakeholder management across the U.S., non-IOPS organization.
- Executes the vision of the COE Strategy and Innovation team.
- Delivers in person instructor led training and virtual instructor led facilitation, company wide at multiple levels of employee population from individual contributor to leader.
- Works with site lead to intake learning needs and conduct needs assessments at the local level
- Partners with supervisor, HR Business partners and internal stakeholders to source / design and deliver custom learning solutions.
- Monitors learner feedback to determine gains in knowledge and skills.
- Collaborates with International learning colleagues in support of programs outside the U.S.
- Manages daily operation of the U.S. learning function including : SchedulingBudgetLMS administration (in conjunction with systems manager)Program deliveryVendor managementContract facilitator management

- Relevant training, coaching and organizational development certifications
- Ability to work on multiple assignments and prioritize demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong client-service and results orientation.
- Learning Management System (LMS) experience.
To be considered for this role you must possess a Bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Business or similar - Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years related HR / L&OD experience, including 3-5 years of focused experience on training, instructional design, and delivery.
Prior people management experience preferred.
Demonstrable presentation skills required. This role requires up to 15% U.S. travel (including overnights).
