Position : IT Systems Manager
Location : Boston, MA (Hybrid)
Duration : 6 Month Contract-to-Hire
The IT Systems Manager will play a pivotal role in spearheading the operational design and execution of new applications / platforms in order to maintain growth and efficiency of the organization.
You will provide oversight of the lab's infrastructure, software, and systems and will work with new vendor platforms and internal research teams to ensure the smooth integration of new technologies into lab workflows.

Minimum Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years of IT / IS project management experience
- Experience engaging with vendors and technical teams to lead process improvement / change implementation
- Ability to lead / effectively communicate across operational and technical teams
- Prior experience implementing new systems / processes
- The ideal candidate will have experience working in a clinical research setting
Responsibilities :
- Develops and implements strategies and system-oriented solutions geared for maintaining growth and efficiency.
- Engages with technical vendors for needs assessments and solution development. Includes implementing new systems / software for successful roll-out and ongoing improvements.
- Leads operational design and execution to ensure that new applications address key performance objectives.
- Coordinates system-based workstreams across technical and project management staff.
- Leads development and implementation processes for new systems / technology into the lab.
- Initiate and track software development requests with external vendors and oversee testing, deployment, and documentation
- Analyzes relevant data and provides performance reports all projects to ensure strategic alignment with the lab objectives.
- Leads operational and technical teams to facilitate engagement with applicable systems used in day-to-day operations. Includes creating, facilitating and leading project meetings, working groups, and status reporting presentations.
- Supports the labs Operational and Technical staff with hardware and software needs, including training and troubleshooting.
- Liaises with the Data Analyst to manage trial configuration, design, and workflow within the organizations data management portal.
- Establishes efficiency and efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvement of IT infrastructure and measuring productivity levels.
- Develops ongoing support solutions in coordination with MGB ERIS, IT Security, and Research Compliance.
