SALARY AND BENEFITS
Salary : Certificated Salary Schedule. Genesee Intermediate Education Association (GIEA).
Benefits : We offer five different health insurance plans along with dental, vision, disability, and life insurance after one full day of employment.
WORK LOCATION AND SCHEDULE
Mott Middle College / Mott Memorial Building
East Court Street, Flint, Michigan
Schedule : 7.0 hours per day, days per year (Academic calendar).
ROLE AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The Mott Middle College / Genesee Early College Teacher is responsible for leading the instructional program and implementing activities for high school students.
The teacher serves as an instructional and decision-making member of the Early College team and is responsible for meeting the unique needs of students in the assigned area.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education : Bachelors degree required. Valid Michigan secondary teacher certificate with an endorsement to teach subject area.
Must meet requirements for highly qualified teacher as specified in No Child Left Behind. Masters degree in content area preferred.
Experience : Three or more years of successful teaching experience with diverse, underserved high school students preferred.
