Your Impact :

The Architectural Project Manager is vital to the success of Deck Remodelers. This role serves as the intersection point for our clients, project team, consultants, internal leadership, and other project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Work full-time, in-house with our project development team to design and manage residential deck and outdoor space projects
  • Collaborate with clients, and internal teams to meet both functional and aesthetic goals
  • Oversight and guidance throughout the project lifecycle including design concept, project requirements, drawing and specification development, and construction administration.
  • Ensure all projects comply with structural codes and zoning regulations.
  • Draft, stamp, and approve construction documents for projects, ideally in NJ, NY, CT, and PA
  • Manage client and team though the project development phase (internal and external) coordination and communication.
  • Provide review and revisions to renderings, animations, and construction documents.
  • Prepare zoning requirements, including making suggestions on value engineering best build practices and work arounds on zoning issues when possible.
  • Report to operations manager on each project, providing project status updates on a regular basis.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all work is accurate and completed on time

Qualifications :

  • Ideally Registered / Licensed Architect in NJ, NY, CT, PA and or willing to get reciprocal lic in the other states.
  • 5+ years of experience in residential construction, with a focus on outdoor structures such as decks
  • Strong understanding of residential structural codes, especially for decks and outdoor spaces
  • Experience in drafting, reviewing, and approving construction documents.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on schedule.
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction

Preferred Skills :

  • Knowledge of 3D modeling software (Realtime Landscape architect, SketchUp, etc.)
  • Familiarity with permit applications and zoning approval processes
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in residential outdoor construction
