The Job
As Own continues to scale, we are looking for a determined Account Executive to not only hunt for net new business, but to also grow their careers as sales professionals for years to come.
In this quota carrying role, you will convert prospects into paying customers by handling both inbound and outbound leads.
Your mission will be to identify strategic opportunities with prospects and new clients to build them into long-term profitable relationships.
You will be prospecting to companies with an employee count of 1500+.

Your Day-to-Day Role
- Manage prospects from lead to close
- Create and own your Territory Plan of Commercial Accounts to prospect and develop new business opportunities and grow existing business
- Map out the decision-making process of each prospect to optimize conversions at each stage
- Clearly articulate and demonstrate our value proposition, creating excitement and enthusiasm among prospects
- Maintain quarterly sales forecast and close business to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual booking objectives
- Cross-functionally work with Solution Engineers, Alliances, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to provide critical customer feedback loops that influence product roadmap to improve overall customer experience
- Participate in our world class sales enablement trainings, including our comprehensive Sales Bootcamp, sophisticated sales training, and leadership and development programs
Your Work Experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a quota-carrying role, preferably in the SaaS space
- Previous outbound prospecting experience is a plus
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals (Presidents Club, Rep of the Year, etc.)
- Experience with consultative, value-based selling and a proven track record of exceeding quota
- Demonstrated successful track record of acquiring net new business via outbound prospecting tools
- Worked with multi-product offerings
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with startup experience
- Comfortable selling to VP, C-Suite executives, and IT leaders, navigating through multiple decision-makers in an organization
- Highly analytical, data-driven, and detail-oriented
Important Details
This is a full-time position, with a commitment of five days per week in office. The ideal candidate will work out of our Englewood Cliffs, NJ office to maximize collaboration and interaction with the business.
Travel may be required.
