Overview TRC is currently seeking an Environmental Quality Assurance Chemist to support our Environmental Engineering, Consulting & Remediation (ECR) Practice managed from our Lowell, MA headquarters.

This position offers a flexible work arrangement for candidates within the United States. Responsibilities Job Responsibilities : Perform data validation or data usability assessments for a variety of laboratory analytical methods under different state and federal regulatory programs.

Experience performing Tier IV Data Validation is preferable. Review laboratory / chemistry reports to ensure no errors in calculations or findings, reviewing for technical accuracy and compliance.

Maintain records and documentation of all laboratory analysis and tests. Analyze environmental data and prepare reports.

Assist in the preparation of project plans, such as quality assurance project plans (QAPPs), sampling and analysis plans, and Uniform Federal Policy (UFP) QAPPs.

Assist in preparation and perform quality control reviews of data tables and figures in support of project reporting. Support field staff and project managers in the coordination with analytical laboratories.

Work in a team setting and complete assigned responsibilities within set schedules and budgets. Qualifications Skills / Experience A BS degree in Chemistry or related science.

Experience in validating data according to EPA National Functional Guidelines. Experience with evaluating environmental field data and laboratory quality control principles and how they relate to environmental sampling and analytical procedures.

Experience in reviewing data from high resolution GC / MS techniques for dioxin / furans and / or PCB congeners or other non-routine analysis such as PFAS by EPA Methods.

Acute attention to detail. Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and work efficiently under deadlines. Excellent communication and writing skills, able to convey technical concepts to individuals without a chemistry background.

Proficiency in MS Word and Excel and Adobe Acrobat. Prefer candidates with database knowledge. Benefits* : TRC offers a competitive benefit package consisting of : Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance.

TRC offers jurisdiction specific benefit packages for International and Puerto Rico employees. Compensation : In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition.

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation : Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
