We are seeking an Accounting Specialist who will be responsible for managing financial records, performing audits, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, providing insights that support decision-making within the organization.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Compile and present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all journal entries and supporting documentation.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor budgets.
  • Prepare forecasts and provide variance analysis against budgeted figures.
  • Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and expenses.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to optimize tax strategies.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Provide recommendations for financial improvements and cost control.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and manage cash reserves.
  • Track and manage company assets, including depreciation schedules.
  • Ensure accurate recording and reporting of fixed assets.
  • Develop and implement internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration (MBA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to stay updated with industry trends and regulations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit / stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset.

The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer.

The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based.
