Legal Assistant Paralegal - Litigation

Our client an AM 100 law firm is looking to add a Legal Administrative Assistant to directly support the Executive Partner of their Family Law / Matrimonial Department in Brooklyn. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced legal professional to play a key role in a busy and high-profile practice.

Provide high-level administrative support, including coordinating meetings and conference calls, organizing paper and electronic files, and managing photocopying, scanning, and printing needs.

Assist with the preparation, service, and filing of pleadings, discovery documents, subpoenas, and other litigation materials.

Draft, edit, format, and proofread letters, memos, and legal documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Handle administrative processes such as requesting conflict checks, opening new client matters, and submitting internal approvals.

Support the Executive Partner with additional tasks and ad hoc projects as needed, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Minimum of 5+ years of experience providing legal administrative support, preferably in a family or matrimonial law practice.

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
