Human Resources Manager

One of Utah’s fastest growing companies is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone to come in and own the entire HR process, managing both tactical and strategic initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have 5 years of human resources experience and an aptitude for streamlining processes.

What will the Human Resources Manager be doing?

  • Managing employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Managing recruitment efforts and strategies, job postings, interviews, offer letters, etc.
  • Managing employee pre-screening and background checks
  • Processing semi-monthly payroll, ensuring accurate timecards, hours, bonuses, commissions, garnishments, and reimbursements
  • Handling all employee relations matters and investigations
  • Overseeing benefits administration, partnering with brokers
  • Administering the company 401(k) plan
  • Overseeing company policies and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws
  • Identifying any training and continuing education programs for employees
  • Overseeing performance management and succession planning
  • Driving employee engagement and company culture initiatives
  • Managing Worker’s Compensation and unemployment claims
  • Partnering with executive leadership on company strategies and organizational development
  • Managing employee records and HRIS system to ensure accurate and up to date information

What is required?

  • 5+ years of human resources experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Expertise in state, federal, and employment laws
  • Experienced in HRIS and computer systems
  • Payroll processing experience, Paylocity a plus
  • Professional communication both written and verbal
  • Ability to build strong relationships with leadership and staff
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
  • Sound judgement
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • High degree of organization
  • Excellent attention to detail
