Mission : What we do and why we need you
The mission of our field team is to enable our partners, the workers on our platform, to get the most out of our platform and provide our customers with world-class service.
This team works in local markets to onboard new workers, train them, and ensure they are having a first-class experience on our platform.
The field trainer role will focus on teaching new partners and workers best practices in a variety of fields but specifically focus on food preparation and handling.
This person will also partner with Shiftsmart corporate employees to grow our presence and capabilities in several vital markets
This is a field role with a focus on the following cities; Dallas and St. Louis.
Note : This role may require some travel
Outcomes : What problems you will solve
Training and Onboarding of New Partners : You will work closely with new partners on the platform to ensure they are fully capable of executing key tasks related to their shifts.
You will ensure they are qualified and prepared to provide top-notch service to our customers and client base
Recruitment and Growth : You will partner with Shiftsmart corporate employees in the market to grow our presence and capabilities in key marketing, including working with our team to identify and recruit new partners and workers onto the platform
Competencies : Who you are
A trainer and leader : You have 1+ years of experience as a trainer with preferred experience in field environments. You enjoy coaching and helping others grow in their capabilities
An industry expert : You have previous experience in the food or restaurant industry or have spent previous time in the convenience industry
Clear communicator : You are an excellent communicator of ideas who can relate to people on an individual and group level.
You can motivate team members through effective training both in groups and individual situations
Flexible and motivated : You are a hard worker and driver who looks to make an impact in everything you do.
Compensation philosophy
To provide greater transparency we share base salary ranges, which are based on role and level benchmarked against similar stage, high growth companies.
Offers are determined based on multiple factors including skills, work experience, and relevant credentials.
