We are offering a unique opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Tucson, Arizona. This role entails handling day-to-day accounting tasks in our team, focusing on bank reconciliations and the processing of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
This is a short-term contract position that will allow you to utilize your skills in QuickBooks Online and MS Excel within the financial industry.
Responsibilities :
- Handle daily accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial records
- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the company's financial transactions
- Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to maintain up-to-date transaction records
- Prepare and record journal entries in the general ledger
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for accounting tasks and reporting
- Use MS Excel for data analysis and financial reporting
- Participate in the month-end close process to finalize financial records
- Utilize various accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to streamline accounting processes
- Maintain accurate customer credit records
- Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.
