Financial Analyst- Americas Reporting

The Opportunity

Responsible for consolidating and reporting for GPN Americas and managing the budget and forecasting process. Role reports into Americas Reporting Manager.

• Perform in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and sensitivity analysis, to identify key drivers of financial performance and provide insights to support decision-making
• Partner in the preparation and analysis of month-end financial presentations. Highlight key financial performance indicators and variances to budget or forecast and work with wider team to articulate key commentary on performance in the month.
• Identify areas of opportunity to improve efficiency around what and how we report monthly KPI’s and performance. Challenge & where necessary change current processes to further add value to aid better decision making by leadership.
• Compile weekly consumption report in preparation for weekly review with Americas finance team. Work with cross-functional partners to ensure data integrity and accuracy of reporting.
• Aid in the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic objectives.
• Work closely with other departments, including Operations, Sales, and Marketing, to provide financial insights and support reporting requests as and when needed.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and modeling as required to support business decisions and initiatives.
• Work in SAC tool and run ad hoc reporting to support the forecasting and budgeting process.

The Skills you will bring to the team

• Bachelor's Degree : Finance or Accounting
• Experience : 1-3 years of relevant experience in financial planning, analysis, and management.
• Technical Skills
• Financial Modeling : Proficiency in building and maintaining financial models.
• Data Analysis : Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Software Proficiency : Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Business Intelligence Tools : Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or others.
• ERP Systems : Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data to support decision-making.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify financial issues and develop solutions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
