Desktop Support Specialist
$75,000 - $90,000 per year + benefits ect
6 month contract to hire
We are looking for a dynamic person that can adapt to several requests at the same time and to understand the needs of a demanding executive team to resolve issues quickly.
The technician will interact daily with the executive team, management, office and remote field users to support all desktop and network issues.
The client team has 70 users in downtown Houston (corp office) and 280 field operators in the east Texas and West Louisiana.
Hours are 7 : 00 Am to 5 : 00 PM Monday Thursday and 7 AM 12 PM on Friday. Technician will be required to have email and MFA applications on a personal phone and be available for after hours support if needed within 60 minutes of a call.
Technician will be provided a laptop and is required to travel home with it and have available internet access at home
Some daily or overnight travel may be required to East Texas and West Louisiana. Miles and all travel expenses will be reimbursed.
Supported software will primarily be Microsoft 365, SharePoint, One Drive, TEAMs and TEAMs Phone, Citrix connectivity, Sage 500 and customized accounting applications.
Setting up new desktop, laptops and user in Active Directory
Technician will be required to use RMM (N-able) and MSP ticketing system.
Client will provide paid 24 / 7 access to the building and paid for parking
Immediate response to the executive team requires a quick resolution with the ability to understand an issue with little to no clarity
Must be a relationship building person and can adapt to all environments.
The client operates on two floors and they have different dress codes. We are asked to follow the elevated dress code for the executive team.
Dress slacks and dress shirt (Fridays can be casual business)
