Senior Staff Accountant
Overview :
At Lee Spring, we are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our Finance team, working closely with our Controller, to manage various accounting functions.

Responsibilities :
- Financial Reporting : Prepare comprehensive financial analyses and reports.
- Monthly Closing : Major contributor to monthly closing process preparing reconciliations, analyses, and general journal entries.
- Account Reconciliation : Maintain and reconcile balance sheet, accruals, and general ledger accounts.
- Audit Preparation : Assist with annual audit preparation.
- Special Analyses : Develop financial analyses as requested by operations and finance management.
- Process Improvement : Recommend and implement improvements to accounting systems and procedures.
- Other Tasks : Secondary support for AP and AR teams as needed.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- 3-5+ years of accounting experience, with a preference for experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong financial analysis and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (advanced skills using functions such as pivot tables, queries and other data extraction tools).
Experience with Power BI and use of dashboards a plus.
- Mid-sized ERP software skills are important, knowledge of SYSPRO ERP a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally and in a team environment.
Location :
This is an in-office position located at our corporate headquarters in Brooklyn, NY. There is an opportunity for occasional remote work, up to one day per week.
