Accounting / Tax Manager (40099)
Our client is an organization in the Madison area looking for an Accounting / Tax Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator.

The salary for this position is $95k - $130k.
The Accounting / Tax Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following :
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide guidance and supervision to associates on payroll, financial reporting, tax preparation and various projects.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, sales tax returns and financial statements.
- Lead annual 1099, CRP, and year-end related accounting functions.
- Prepare / Review Corporation, S-Corporation, Partnership and Individual tax returns using tax preparation software.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding accounting and / or tax issues.
- Work with internal and external auditors to provide requested information and resolve any compliance issues.
- Stay up to date with tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
The Accounting / Tax Manager will possess the following :
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 3+ years of related experience required.
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance. CPA required.
- Strong knowledge in using computer software, including QuickBooks, FAS, Sage HRMS, MS Excel and tax preparation software.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
