The Purchasing Operations Clerk will primarily support the Purchasing team, as well as backup assistance to the SE PrintShop and Shipping & Receiving.
Everything will be done with the primary purpose of achieving the mission, vision, and strategies of Southeast Christian Church.
General Job Duties :
At minimum 50% of time will be working with the Purchasing team
o Contacting vendors regarding billing / payment / tax issues
o Processing invoices / credit card receipts
o Handling returns / issues with orders
o Filling out credit applications
o Order pick-up from local vendors
Backup for the SE PrintShop and Shipping & Receiving
o Operate high-volume copiers, large paper cutter and other PrintShop equipment
o Mail / package deliveries throughout Blankenbaker Campus
o Accepting deliveries from vendors
Provide a great, helpful, and Christ-centered attitude to all
Essential Functions :
- Operational support for the Purchasing team
- Provide back-up assistance to the SE PrintShop and Shipping & Receiving as needed
- Provide excellent customer service

- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially as pertains to Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to learn technical skills quickly

- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision, but also as a part of a team
- Able to lift or move 60 lbs. or greater
- Organizational & administrative skills
Required Education & Membership :
- High School Graduate
- Prior similar job experience
- An engaged member or willing to become one of Southeast Christian Church who supports the Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership established by the church.
