IAM Engineer
Pay Rate : $44
Richardson, TX (Tues / Wed / Thurs) Hybrid
Assignment Duration : 6 Months
M-F 8-5pm
2+ Years of Experience with IAM with a focus on Okta
HM does not want to see candidates with 5 - 10 years+
Resource's typical working day :
o Design, develop, and maintain solutions that support identity and access management for our clients
o Strong Regex skills
o Troubleshoot and resolve access-related issues and incidents.
o Integrate Okta with various applications, directories, and identity sources.
o Configure and customize Okta to meet specific business requirements.
o Work closely with application owners and teams to ensure seamless integration.
o Enhance security by implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA), SSO, and adaptive authentication.
o Monitor and audit Okta for security compliance and recommend improvements.
o Monitor and optimize the performance and scalability of Okta solutions.
o Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues.
o Act as an escalation point for Okta-related incidents and support requests.
o Participate in on-call rotations to address critical issues.
o Keep up to date with the latest developments in the Okta platform.
Years of Experience needed :
2+ Years of Experience with IAM with a focus on Okta
Level of Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Systems / Software proficiencies :
IAM protocols, (SAML, OIDC, OAuth, LDAP), and security best practices are required
Certifications / Licenses :
Okta Certified Administrator is a plus

o Strong knowledge of IAM principles, protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth, LDAP), and security best practices.
o Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
o Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
