What You'll Do
Drive incubation stage of core strategic projects in partnership with this team and core cross-functional collaborators.
This role addresses business problems through a long-term lens with consideration of the immediate operational needs.
- Breakdown complex business activities into simple frameworks. Understand the risks and opportunities and be able to communicate the plans to Senior Management
- Partner with teams on planning processes such as quarterly and annual planning cycles collecting and sharing team requests that need to fall into an annual program roadmap for example.
- Review operational metrics to proactively identify areas for improvement and work with the regional teams to set targets and drive KPIs.
What You Need to Succeed
- Biased to action, driving decisions and deliverables with a sense of urgency and accountability.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes.
Gleans insights from data and translates them into actions.
- Outstanding presentation & communication skills (both verbal and written), including storytelling and ability to synthesize and structure strategic issues in a concise way.
- Fast learner. Flexibility to rapidly assess a problem, evaluate options and drive timely decision-making.
- Flexibility and understanding for how to operate within a global team.
Education
- Proven experience (10+ years) driving business strategy and operations in heavily matrixed orgs.
- Experience focusing on Transformation / Strategy / Operations projects.
