Job Summary

As the first point of contact for patients and clients at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, the Rehabilitation Services Coordinator plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment. With empathy and attention to detail, you ensure that each individual feels seen, heard, and cared for from the moment they arrive.

You manage the check-in process with warmth and efficiency, verifying that all department records and demographic information are complete and accurate. Your work ensures that every patient\'s care begins on a solid foundation. In addition, you\'ll coordinate and schedule future appointments, helping patients stay on track with their rehabilitation journey.

Key Position Details

This outpatient clinic is a complex patient care department specializing in adult neurodiverse, multidisciplinary therapy scheduling (PT, OT, SLP).

• 1.0 FTE (80-hours per two-week pay period)
• 8-hour day shifts (7a-3 : 30p)
• No weekends
• No travel required

Experience working with patients, Epic, and scheduling in a health care setting a plus.

Job Description

The Rehabilitation Services Coordinator is the first point of contact for patients or clients receiving services in the Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute. Ensuring the check-in process, department records and demographic information is complete and accurate. Schedules appointments for future visits.

Principle Responsibilities

Schedules and / or reschedules patient appointments, procedures, diagnostic tests and other related appointments.

Provides department reception, patient check-in and telephone coverage, routing messages accordingly.

Maintains governmental payor logs, including faxing.

Analyzes patient records to determine if outside documents are needed.

Pay Range

Pay Range : $21.55 to $29.35 per hour. The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and / or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
