Machine Operator
Location : Roswell / Alpharetta
Shift Days : Second Shift - M-F 1 pm - 9 : 30 pm
Compensation : $17.50 / hr
JOB DESCRIPTION :
PrideStaff is working with a client in the Roswell area on IMMEDIATE OPENINGS on second shift (full time). The Machine Operator performs a variety of manufacturing tasks to formulate, fill, package, and inspect products in a self-directed work team environment.
RESPONSIBILITES :
- Read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing and quality control documents, technical procedures, and government regulations.
- Operate a variety of machines - including set-up, clean-up, change-over, troubleshooting, and / or minor repair for manufacturing equipment in the work center.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Excellent PC skills
- Basic math skills : add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Desire to learn
- Ability to work with a team; strong communication skills are required
- Ability to stand for 2+ hours, occasionally climb, kneel, or bend
- Ability to lift up to 50lb
- Specific vision ability close, color, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
