Our Medical Device client is actively seeking a Sr. Project Manager for their Lake Zurich office.

SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead the development and launch of an innovative system for the C> industry.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a strategic mindset to ensure successful product development through market launch.
The candidate will work closely with R&D, Commercial, and Regulatory as the primary project manager. This role demands strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, the ability to manage a complex project that spans across multiple functional groups, and to manage both internal and external stakeholders.
Principle Activities Performed :
- Develop the detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategy for the new product development
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with the cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, business development, and regulatory teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables
- Ensure directed resources are effectively utilized, work accordingly to project assumption and forecasts, and delivery efficient, high-quality work
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among stakeholders throughout the project, including project meeting discussions and weekly status reports
- Responsible for communicating project status to all levels of senior management on a regular basis to facilitate informed decision-making
- Utilize technical and industry knowledge to understand project requirements and challenges
- Monitor project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to keep the project on track
- Develop and manage project budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial restraints
- Collaborate closely with marketing and business development / sales teams to develop go-to-market strategy, launch plans, and update the business case as needed
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree. PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus
- 5+ years’ experience in cell and gene therapies, biotechnology, medical devices, or equilavent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years’ experience in a project management role, preferably in technical environment overseeing a product (device, lab equipment, or other instrumentatation) development and launch
- Outstanding organizational, project management, communication, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and drive project success in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and communication skills, with ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Ability and willingness to travel
