Job Details

Join the firm's esteemed Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights practice as a Paralegal, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting the attorneys and clients with the following responsibilities :

  • Draft and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and UCC financing statements
  • Correspond professionally with clients and interface with state courts throughout Florida
  • Manage multiple cases, ensuring all deadlines are met and hearings are coordinated efficiently
  • Conduct lien, judgment, and asset searches to support recovery efforts
  • Manage bankruptcy-related tasks, including monitoring filings and preparing proofs of claim
  • Assist with collections processes, foreclosure proceedings, and repossessions
  • Conduct title searches and prepare reports for property-related matters
  • Support attorneys in all aspects of creditors' rights work, including mediations and settlement conferences

Requirements :

  • 2+ years of experience in Creditors' Rights OR Foreclosure
  • Knowledge of Florida circuit courts and foreclosure procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
  • Ability to apply legal knowledge to complex assignments
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in legal software and MS Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
