MVCU is a state-chartered credit union with a history of recent successful mergers, including Bridgewater Credit Union and Ocean Spray Credit Union over the past 12 months.
The VP, Controller will maintain the financial records of the Credit Union in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), supervise all accounting and financial reporting functions of the Credit Union, and prepare all requisite corporate tax filings.
He / she will supervise payroll processing, including supporting documentation, tax payments, audit trails and permanent employee records.
He / she will serve as a member of the Credit Union’s Management Team and participate in developing overall company strategy, policies, programs, objectives and goals.
This is a highly visible role on the leadership team, and a critical component in ensuring that the Credit Union achieves its financial and operational objectives.
