Outside Sales Glass Representative

Position : Storefront Estimating and Sales Representative

Location : 2160 W 1700 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84104

Department : Office / Sales

Pay rate : Depending on experience

Schedule : Monday through Friday (Full-Time)

Summary :

Glaz-Tech is looking to fill the position of a n Outside Sales Glass Representative. We are seeking a responsible, adaptable and self driven individual looking to grow in the architectural glass and storefront industry.

The job functions include quoting / estimation, customer relationship building and sales.

Responsibilities may include (but not limited to) :

  • Provide specifications and samples of glass products to new and existing customers
  • Providing timely and accurate estimates to customers
  • Maintaining knowledge and a strong understanding of current and upcoming product offerings
  • Answering customer questions electronically, virtually or conduct on-site visits related to glass
  • Understanding of product inventory and stock items
  • Placing, verifying and receiving orders in assisting CSRs as required
  • Maintain customer relations through visits and new product introductions
  • Tracking long term quotes and projects
  • Working closely with production and shipping supervisors to ensure timely product delivery
  • Process improvement and procedure development to improve workflow

Required qualifications :

  • Minimum of H.S. diploma or equivalent
  • Must have valid driver's license
  • Computer proficient
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Authorized to work in the US

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Knowledge and experience of commercial glass products
  • Experience in construction or architecture related fields, glass & glazing products
  • Degree in architecture, construction or engineering
