We are in search of a Fundraising & Grant Coordinator with experience within the complete lifecycle of Grant Management with Fundraising operational experience, and a passion for Children’s Advocacy.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage Grant Management Lifecycle from start to finish, research, application, submission, award, signature, and revenue tracking.
- Review and source grants from federal, state and local funding sources; to identify potential funding opportunities
- Assist with development of funding strategies for complex projects
- Conduct outreach to funding agency staff to discuss funding program details and vet program applicability to projects
- Maintain a comprehensive record of all pending, awarded, and declined grants
- Establish priorities and target dates with Development Leadership for information gathering, writing, review, approval, and transmittal of funding proposals to meet deadlines
- Develop grant proposals including identifying and reviewing needed documentation, developing project descriptions, identifying project benefits, developing cost-benefit analyses and project budgets, etc.
- Gather information and support leadership in making recommendations for improving grantmaking processes, including identifying issues and implementing approved changes.
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Program team members to ensure compliance with all government and private grant compliance
- Possess a strong understanding of the measures and metrics used to evaluate programs and identify measurable goals and objectives for use in proposals.
- Collaborate Internal Stakeholder Leadership to monitor grant outcomes and prepare accurate and timely reports.
- Execute proposal and report coordination, grant and sponsorship deliverables execution, fundraising support for both cash and in-kind gifts, as well as support for large scale mailings.
- Provide strategic leadership and work across departments to develop and submit grant proposals and reports, including identifying measurable goals and objectives for program development
- Identify and solicit corporate, foundation, and government grant opportunities matched to organization programs and activities and determine which opportunities strategically align with the organization’s priorities and capacity.
- Partner with Development Leadership in coordination major gifts functions, direct mail, grants and events to develop coordinated strategies for major donors (individual, corporate and foundation)
- Compile program outlines, materials, and data to write a compelling narrative; developing grant budgets and financial reports in partnership with program directors and the finance team
- Effectively coordinate between all constituents from prospecting through closeout
- Collaborate with Development Leadership to engage new and existing foundation and institutional partners and enhance relationships through grants, event sponsorships, volunteer opportunities, and in-kind donations
- Manage and steward the portfolio of donors to retain and increase giving to the organization
- Assist in maintaining and updating proposal and award information, creating and maintaining files, and coordinating / tracking proposal submission, award set-up, compliance, tracking, and reporting
- Support activities towards annual Fund Development Plan, including annual and planned Giving, Capital Campaigns, Fundraising Events, Tours And Presentations, and Reporting
- Partner with fundraising team, senior management, and external stakeholders to cultivate relationships, solicit donations, and manage donor communications.
- Support the individual and corporate development team’s administrative and operational needs
- Develop engagement strategies to grow organization revenue from a portfolio of corporate, foundation, and / or government donors, including participate in team meetings, strategy sessions
- Meet with donors regularly, virtually and in person and engage them in as many ways as possible
- Ensure that all deadlines are met, and work is prioritized effectively
- Identify funder prospects, and monitor new institutional funding opportunities
- Adhoc projects as needed per Leadership
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Communications, or similar
- Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) designation is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, sales, or related field, with a proven track record of successful fundraising outcomes
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, communicate persuasively, and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grant writing, donor proposals, and presentation abilities
- Proficiency in donor management software (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge), Microsoft Office Suite, and online fundraising platforms
- Strategic thinking with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
- Understanding of Proposal and Budget Development Process
- Passionate about Youth / Children’s Advocacy
