Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Lathe machinist with 3-5 years of relevant experience. As a CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process.

You will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Swiss Lathe machines to produce precision parts. Your attention to detail, technical skills, and ability to read blueprints will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

In addition to technical skills, we value individuals who are organized, proactive, and have a strong work ethic. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where efficiency is key.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and run production on CNC Swiss lathe turning centers meeting production demands.
• Load and unload machine with first piece checks and required documentation.
• Control and adjust machine settings.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements and select appropriate cutting tools.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure the production of accurate and high-quality components
• Trouble shoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process, such as tool wear, machine malfunctions, or programming errors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years Swiss Lathe Setup Machinist or similar role
• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to ensure accurate part dimensions and tolerances.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Self-starter who can work both independently and with a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attendance / Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.
• Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction.
• Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.
