Extended stay hotel looking for a National Director of Sales to spearhead sales efforts across the franchise network, focusing on strengthening relationships with current and upcoming franchisees.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in hotel sales and franchising, ideally within extended-stay brands or comparable markets.
- Exceptional communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and support hotel owners.
- Experience in securing high-value contracts with government agencies, hospitals, and other long-term-stay clientele.
- Ability to thrive in a highly mobile role, with frequent travel across the country.
- Based in Charlotte, NC, or near a major airport for ease of travel.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate directly with franchisees, working hand-in-hand to ensure the success and profitability of their properties.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of extended-stay business models, akin to those at Residence Inn and TownePlace Suites, to cater to long-term guests.
- Secure large-scale contracts, including government and hospital partnerships, to drive consistent occupancy and revenue growth.
- Act as a key liaison between the corporate office and franchisees, ensuring brand consistency and operational excellence.
- Lead boots-on-the-ground sales initiatives, providing support at the property level when needed.
- Travel extensively across the U.S., assisting franchisees with sales strategy execution and operational improvements.
- Serve as a key resource in enhancing customer service touchpoints, elevating guest satisfaction and retention.
