Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS :

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :
Experience in direct patient care in a medical field required.
Certification in First Aid CPR / AED
High school graduate
Clerical skills such as filing, typing, word processing, telephone skills, ability to interact with others and prioritize work responsibilities.
Completion of course work and / or license / certificate in Medical Assisting, CNA or other health related field preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to empathize and find common ground for the good of the organization.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Evidence of outstanding organizational abilities; ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
Ability to work as a successful team member with co-workers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; ability to effectively learn and work with school-centered software (relational database) applications.
Should have a history of confidentiality, stability, neatness, punctuality, loyalty, ethical consciousness, organization skills, and flexibility.
LANGUAGE SKILLS :
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, federal, state, and / or DPI regulations, handbooks, computer and other manuals, budget reports and statistical data.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to interpret and communicate reports, procedures, and computer applications to faculty, staff, and students.
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :
Ability to add, sub-tract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to statistically manipulate numbers; make advanced mathematical calculations; check for accuracy.
REASONING ABILITY :
Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to exercise good judgment and effectively solve problems.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions with several abstract and concrete variables.
