Job Description
Duties
Duties include but are not limited to : Answer and route phone calls to appropriate staff.Monitor and respond to routine emails or route to appropriate staff.
Daily pick up and drop off incoming / outgoing mail; open and route mail and / or packages to appropriate staff.Maintain filing of personnel, payroll and other documents.
Ensure office copier and fax machine are stocked with paper.Assist with securing office (e.g. locking doors and file cabinets) at the end of the day.
Assist with monitoring office supply inventory needs.Maintain regular and thorough sanitizing of work area, use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and practice social distancing whenever possible.
Support various sub-units and professional staff within HREOC as needed.Other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications : Previous office experience.High level of confidentiality and discretion.Familiarity / fluency with Microsoft Outlook (email and calendars), Word, Excel.
Demonstrated ability to closely follow written and verbal instructions.Demonstrated ability to use good English grammar, spelling, punctuation.
Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.Major / minor in business or public administration, human resources, or a behavioral science.
Required Qualifications :
Undergraduate students must be registered / enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall / Spring units.Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester / year in which you are applying.
- Salary Range
- $16.00 - $16.50 per hour.
