Job Overview

The Receptionist performs a range of general office support activities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the receptionist for the office; greets and directs visitors and applicants accordingly in a professional manner.
  • Answer / transfer phone calls, direct callers to the appropriate party, forward messages, provide general information, and answer and maintain log of routine inquiries.
  • Manage calendars and schedule appointments and meetings; coordinate events.
  • Maintain cleanliness of office common areas and kitchen (run / empty dishwasher daily).
  • Monitors, orders, and distributes inventory of office supplies.
  • Opens and routes incoming / outgoing mail.
  • Prepares letters, memos, forms, and reports.
  • Copies, sorts, and files records related to office activities.
  • Maintains filing systems manually / electronically.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of administrative or clerical experience in an office setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel) and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment; thorough understanding of office management procedures.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reporting to the office the whole week is required.This role is onsite 5 days a week.
