JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB SUMMARY
The position is responsible for the continued development of existing and new customer accounts aligned with meeting our company's goals and objectives.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain customer relationships, providing technical expertise and support tailored to customer needs.
- Generate and qualify leads, identify potential opportunities, and provide customer feedback to management.
- Prepare and make presentations, provide information and technical support on products and services to prospects, customers, and colleagues.
- Utilize problem solving skills to troubleshoot issues with customers, provide detailed reports of findings, and recommend solutions.
- Utilize sales strategies and techniques to negotiate contracts, close sales, and meet sales goals.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to ensure the company's products and services remain competitive.
- Manage customer accounts including order processing, invoicing, and collections.
- Analyze customer issues and develop recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss customer issues, product updates, and sales strategies.
- Pick and pull parts as needed to support the warehouse.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of company products and services.
- Deliver parts to customer locations.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Adhere and comply with state and federal law, the Company ISO Quality Program and procedures, Company policies and Safety and Environmental Regulations.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Maintain Customer Orders in the ERP Systems
- Responsible for Shipping and Receiving of good including unloading and loading of trucks.
- Warehouse knowledge and Inventory controls.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 4 or more years of sales or related experience.
- Experience using ERP systems and sales systems, such as CRM desired.
- Must be proficient in forklift and / or crane operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be available to work on-call duty.
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team member.
- Ability to Operate a Forklift and Overhead Crane
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
