Job Summary :

The Group Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team to drive sales growth through group bookings and partnerships. This role requires a strong focus on client relations, negotiation, and strategic sales planning to meet revenue targets.

The manager will work closely with various departments to ensure the successful execution of group bookings and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet group sales targets.
  • Manage a sales team, including training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, organizations, and partners.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, marketing) to ensure seamless group bookings.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts, presenting them to senior management.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients for group bookings.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to promote group sales opportunities.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in group or hospitality sales.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
