Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking a Transportation Logistics Coordinator to manage our client's shipper performance, best practice adoption and control implementation support, enhancing the transportation shipper experience.

Job Title : Transportation Logistics Coordinator

Pay : $$ Based upon Experience

Duration : 11-Months Potential to Extend

Schedule : Monday Friday / / 40hrs / week (8 : 30a-4 : 30p)

Location : HYBRID - NASHVILLE, TN

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Monitor, verify, and present data daily
• Overcome transportation disruptions and other barriers in real time
• Identify transportation defect root causes
• Maintain Daily logs on assigned shippers
• Lead weekly calls with assigned shippers
• Lead Daily Business Review Stand up calls spacer
• Monitor and resolve shipper generated cases
• Resolve dwelling freight and freight backlogs at the vendor
• Maintain communications with shippers, carriers, and key stakeholders regarding movement of freight

QUALIFICATIONS :

• 2+ years of Logistics, Shipper / Transportation, Supply Chain experience
• Entry level knowledge of MS Excel; familiarity with Excel spreadsheets and ability to navigate and interpret data
• Understanding of basic data analytical skills
• Experience writing documents on topics such as process improvement proposals.
• Interpersonal and customer service skills
• Customer First Mindset is required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• Degree in Operations, Logistics or Supply Chain
• Expertise in MS Access, Excel, and SQL
• Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma
• Experience in manufacturing, transportation, customer service, and / or distribution environments
• Data management & data quality control experience with experience pulling and analyzing large sets of data
• Experience using data to drive root cause analysis and process improvement recommendations.

EDUCATION :

• High School Diploma required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
