The Role at a Glance
We are excited to bring on a motivated National Director of Consultant Relations to our Institutional Retirement Distribution Team.
In this role, you will be the primary liaison to strategic advisor and consultant firms, responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan to achieve sales and retention goals.
What you'll be doing :
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Lincoln Financial Group (LFG) products and services.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with key sales clients.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to propose additional Lincoln products.
- Proactive outreach to potential customers.
- Capture and maintain sales call data in appropriate systems.
- Support growth in all segments of Lincoln's products / service offerings.
- Ensure resolution of any potential conflicts regarding Lincoln's products / services.
- Maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments / trends.
What we’re looking for :
- 5-7+ years’ experience in external wholesale or relationship management in retirement plans.
- 4 Year / Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Advanced relationship management skills with internal and external clients.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel domestically, up to 50%.
