Job Summary

The Bar Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar, ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience for the guest.

Lead staff, handle inventory, and be responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the bar area.

Key Responsibilities :

• Knowledge of food, beverage, wine, spirits, and cocktails.
• Deliver prompt and accurate service while adhering to Levy RAS.
• Follow Levy beverage recipes, specifications, and responsible alcohol service.
• Ensures assigned location has sufficient inventory to operate by ordering enough product for the location and putting it away.
• Work load-in days to load and stock food and bar locations.
• Understand and describe menu offering and pricing effectively.
• Accurately uses point of sales system.
• Follows cash handling and tip report guidelines.
• Accurately and completely fills out stand paperwork.
• Adhere to Levy Restaurants Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook.
• Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor / manager.

Qualifications :

• Must have 2-4 years previous bartending experience in a high-volume environment.
• Must have at least 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
• Must have strong leadership skills and experience in the bar industry.
• Must have the ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paces, event-driven environment.
• Must have strong and effective communication skills by speaking, writing, and comprehending English
• Must be able to calculate basic math functions.
• Must be able to frequently reach, lift, stoop, and bend.
• Must be able to push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and walk for entire length of shift, including walking up and down stairs and lifting as work duties demand.
