As an Automation Support Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our customers by ensuring optimal machine configurations, offering technical expertise, and helping them get the most out of their automation investments. You will spend regular time at customer sites and be responsible for advising on the most efficient machine configurations and additional offerings, drawing up proposals that help improve production efficiency and throughput.
This role also includes identifying customer needs with a commercial mindset, proactively proposing upgrades or complementary solutions that can further enhance their processes. You will work closely with the sales and Industry 4.0 teams to ensure customers are aware of the full scope of Reynaers' automation and digital solutions.
After extensive training, you will configure machines / software on-site and coordinate with our partners who install the machines—ensuring alignment across all components (machine, tooling, software, operators, etc.). You will deliver technical demonstrations and training to customers and provide after-sales support, either remotely or on-site, including troubleshooting and follow-ups.
