We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Insurance Marketing Specialist with a Middle-Market, Generalist background.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborates with Account Managers and Producers to identify and assess client quoting requirements, enters detailed information into the database, and submits data to various insurance companies to secure quotes for a range of business lines.
- Meticulously examines quotes, focusing on endorsements, exclusions, and subjectivities, generates a proposal for the client, and binds the coverage upon acceptance.
- Communicates the specifics of the carrier's offerings about the client's overall needs to the Account Manager and / or Producer, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the proposal.
- Fosters strong relationships with carrier marketing representatives and underwriters, scheduling regular meetings to stay informed about their appetite, and new and updated product offerings.
- Actively engages in webinars and learning sessions to remain updated on system changes and product enhancements, while also carrying out any other related duties and tasks as required or assigned.
- Diligently reviews firm quotes for accuracy before presenting them to the producer or client, ensuring reliable and tailored information is provided.
Requirements :
- Education : High School diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred. Insurance studies and designations are a plus.
- Licensing and Experience : Active Accident, Property, and Casualty Insurance License; Minimum 2 years of insurance experience.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; Strong data analysis skills and a focus on process innovation.
- Communication and Collaboration : Excellent oral and written communication skills to articulate key information; High emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
- Initiative and Adaptability : Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks with minimal guidance to meet deadlines;
Willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
Leadership : Self-starter with the ability to work with direction and take ownership of areas of responsibility.
The position is based in the Atlanta Metro area and is Hybrid (2 in office / 3 remote). The salary is up to $80,000 for the right candidate.
