Sr. Financial Analyst

Responsibilities :

  • Lead supplier and customer contract review process, including analysis and interpretation of financial terms and documentation of proper revenue recognition.
  • Foster and build relationships with business partners in the organization.
  • As a liaison between Accounting Close teams and Legal / Technical Accounting.
  • Communicating contractual terms to varying levels within the business.
  • Responsible for the input, maintenance, and review of the in-house contract databases with a focus on continuous process improvement.
  • Support and drive department focus on enhanced controls. Responsible for internal reviews and audits of departmental journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure compliance to proper accounting controls and KFCs.
  • Responsible for identifying and coordinating business solutions between multiple teams that drive value within the organization.
  • Perform contract reviews validating VA terms in conjunction with Supplier agreements to determine accuracy and identify income opportunities.
  • Assist with Mid-Year, Interim, Year-End and Committed Customer audit deliverables.

Qualifications :

  • Four-year degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • CPA certifications / candidate or MBA preferred
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience
  • Proficient with Office 365 application (Excel, Power Bi, SharePoint preferred)
  • Experience with SAP, Essbase / Hyperion a plus
  • Experience with a large company
