Location : Georgia Region which includes GA, SC and FL.
Travel : This is a traveling field position. Any projects over 1 hour from residence will stay at a hotel which will be company paid.

Position Summary / Purpose :
Provide site liaison support for the superintendent and the construction team on inter-discipline subcontractor coordination and overall quality of work at job sites in field operations.
Essential Functions :
- Assist contractors interpret the job's designs, ensure the job is constructed according to the project plans, and assist project controls, including budgeting, scheduling, and planning.
- Coordination of the implementation of a project, ensuring it is being built correctly; project schedules and forecasts;
- interpretation of drawings for subcontractors; review of engineering deliverables; redlining drawings; regular project status reports;
- budget monitoring and trend tracking; bill of materials creation and maintenance; effective communications between engineering, technical, construction, and project controls groups;
and assistance to the project manager.
- Research regarding city, county and state construction codes and regulations for every project as needed.
- Assist with the evaluation and development of solutions to problems and questions from subcontractors and other workers on-site.
Provide support for all RFI submittals from project staff.
- Attend all site meetings representing current projects and safety training and initiatives.
- Other related duties as determined from time to time and communicated to the employee.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Knowledge of interpreting architectural, engineering and civil drawings
- Knowledge of construction industry terms and operations
- Skill in dealing with others in person-to-person work relationships
- Communicates effectively both orally and written
- Independent decision-making experience
- Strong attention to detail
Minimum Education / Equivalent Experience Requirements :
- Degree in Construction Management preferred.
- Advanced knowledge in interpreting building blueprints, including estimating
- Strong computer skills and a knowledge of construction software such as Timberline and Microsoft Project
- Experience working with 3rd party developers and state and local officials is preferred
- Good communication skills
- A minimum of 1 year of construction experience required
- OSHA training and GSWCC 1 preferred
- Experience in both areas of site improvements and vertical construction preferred
- Physical demands and work environment :
- Ability to work safely at a job site around on-going construction activities and various weather conditions; Ability to walk and climb steps;
Ability to work long hours as needed.

Construction work site typically located in a field office trailer.
