Position Summary : Under the general supervision of the Coordinator and within established hospital and department policies and procedures, perform a variety of hospital communication system and answering service duties.
Essential Qualifications : Familiarity with computer terminal, keyboard and telephone console and answering service experience is preferred.
Educational Requirements : High school diploma required.
Training : N / A
License / Certification : N / A
Skills : Knowledge of the computer terminal, switchboard and keyboard is necessary. Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
A basic knowledge of answering service and medical terminology preferred. Ability to multi task and prioritize in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.
