We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable / Payable Specialist to join us in producing solutions as we bring next-generation connectivity to our customers across the country.

Based in our Newport Beach office, you’ll have the opportunity to process manual billing, apply cash receipts, and seek proper authorization for adjustments and write-offs.

What you’ll be doing

As part of the accounting team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring seamless financial operations, maintaining strong vendor and customer relationships, and contributing to the financial success of our organization.

At all levels, colleagues will rely on your keen eye and accounting knowledge to make sure that receipts and statements are accurate.

It’s a role with a lot of variety, and day-to-day, you’ll mainly be involved with :

  • Processing accounts payable invoices, expense reports, and ensuring timely payment.
  • Resolving vendor issues promptly and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
  • Handling full-cycle accounts receivable duties, including cash receipt analysis and application.
  • Processing manual billings, obtaining necessary authorizations, and maintaining proper documentation.
  • Administering online banking operations, such as remote desktop deposit and lockbox deposit.
  • Assisting in researching customer account discrepancies in collaboration with Property Management.
  • Conducting accounts receivable aging analysis and generating key performance indicator (KPI) reports.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited university with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in JD Edwards and experience with large ERP systems.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, emphasizing accuracy and timeliness.
  • Thorough understanding of accounts receivable and general ledger systems and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience in online banking administration (e.g., Wells Fargo or similar).
